2008 marked a turning point in the Treinen Farm maze design. For the Dragonfly maze, Angie moved away from the typical design elements found in a maze, and instead drew inspiration from several sources. The first of which is Tiffany stained glass windows and lights. In a stained glass piece, lines of solder connect all the individual sections. This in turn creates a maze-like path within the design. Angie also drew inspiration from celtic knots and symbols, whose twisting and turning interlocking design is also maze-like in its own way.
The 2008 Dragonfly Corn Maze continues to be a standout design amongst 25 years of corn mazes, one we hope you enjoyed as much as we did.
