2004 Treinen Farm Corn Maze

2004 Pirate Ship Corn Maze

In 2004 we set sail aboard our Pirate Ship Corn Maze. Within the sea of corn, visitors were able to experience their very own swash-buckling adventure. The idea for a Pirate Ship came about from wanting to put a pirate flag on the playground. Ultimately, pirates and maps lend themselves to corn maze adventures greatly!

We hoped that everyone who visited would be transported back to being a kid playing pirates again, whether it was on the playground-turned-pirate ship or searching for treasure in the maze. This time, however, the treasure was the exit from the maze!

The pirate ship wasn’t as complicated as the three prior mazes, and we learned that year about how many trails and what complexity is needed to make an ideal maze.
