Mammoth/Ice Age Trail

2002 Mammoth/Ice Age Trail Corn Maze

In Wisconsin we are fortunate to be surrounded by the vestiges of glacier activity during the Ice Age. As glaciers drifted through the landscape was irrevocably changed. Or, in places such as the driftless zone, the landscape remains largely unchanged due to the lack of glacial movement.

Cutting across the state is the Ice Age Trail, a 1200 mile national scenic trail that highlights the effect of glaciers on Wisconsin. This trail includes a section right here in Lodi, Wisconsin.

For our 2002 maze, we envisioned the mammoths that once roamed Wisconsin and pictured ourselves walking the same paths they once traveled.

If you find yourself longing for some more walking after making your way through the whole maze, we recommend the Ice Age Trail as one of the best ways to witness the Wisconsin scenery.
